- Delhi (MCD): General Trade Licence fee reported as 15% of property tax. See retail in Delhi
- Delhi: MCD confirms eateries still need a Health Trade Licence alongside FSSAI. NDMC areas no longer need a separate municipal licence for eateries. See restaurants in Delhi
- Delhi: Shops and Establishments registrations no longer need renewal.
- Bengaluru: BBMP replaced by the Greater Bengaluru Authority and five city corporations. Trade licences now issued by the city corporations.
- Delhi: Police eating house licence removed for restaurants, hotels and similar businesses.
- Gujarat: White category units exempted from Pollution Control Board consent.
